We co-create Conservation Challenges, species-specific crowdfunding campaigns, with Indigenous and Local Communities to generate genome sequence information and invest in community-led conservation initiatives. Our engagement process precedes all technical work, ensuring community values lead the way, that free, prior and informed consent is established, and data governance practices honor community rights.
Hosted on our decentralized online platform, our Conservation Challenges invite scientists and the public to join us in confronting the species extinction crisis through scientific or technical collaboration, or with donations.
